It was very exciting when the crane lifted the mast into the air. We had a lot of good hands helping throughout the day. Everyone made sure Rikki-tikki-tavi was readied for the water without a hitch. Our special thanks to Dick, who built and launched, along with Gary, a Searunner 40 "Time Further Out" several years ago.
Thanks to my sons, CR and Tyler, and my brother, Scott. Thanks also to Brian, Gary, and to all the video capturers (that's Samantha doing her work in front). Thanks also to the crane operator whose name we didn't get! It was his second mast and he did a great job. |

Rigged and poised for entering the water, a ladder is placed for us, captain, first mate and matriarch of the family, Lynne (in the foreground), to climb aboard for the proclamation and christening.
Rikki-tikki sure is looking good and everyone is anxious with anticipation. |
