2013 Trip
Miss Trilly’s Big Road Trip!
As anticipated, we found ourselves extremely pleased with the ease of traveling with our “new” Trillium. As we brought her back from Oregon in October, we discovered a couple of things needed improving. The original foam in the seats had to go! We built new foam inserts using leftover, pieced-together Q51 (very firm). Great! 9ah renewed the original awning by trimming off the ten inches of dried-out vinyl. Clark built new aluminum tubing poles. The awning worked great, but we did not deploy it during our Fall Roadtrip because we did not need the shade! 9ah also installed a section of fabric shoe holder under the table to catch all the little things that need stowing. Closet Maid fabric boxes made great containers under the bed for our clothes. Their smallest boxes fit perfectly on the overhead shelves! Everything was now neat & organized, just like our boat. Finally, 9ah found butter-yellow webbing on eBay to renew Mom’s vintage aluminum chairs. Vintage chairs for our Vintage Lady, Miss Trilly. She proved to be ideal in every way. Sublime.
